My faithful friend. Since I retired he has hardly ever left my side. If I move from one room to another or go outside he follows me.

Oh... how lovely. I thought that he was your shadow when I read the title.. How about when you go shopping? Please don't leave him outside, the dog I saw yesterday broke my heart...There is a black labrador in the town where I live, she always 'Woof's when her owner goes to the shop, I try to talk to her, but her whole mind is always the lady in the shop..You have a wonderful friend..Smile

Why do labs always look sad when they are happy and content? My Penny does too. She only laughs when she sees our son Nick and I mean laughs...her mouth curls into a smile Smile and she rolls on to her back. Probably because he was her No. 1 before he left home.
You have a beautiful friend.

You know John I didn't realise that when my daughter named our dog Shadow 14 years ago that his name would be the making of his character.Shadow my Shadow, always with me ,willing good natured, happy, loyal,my mate.I just read your description and realised just how lucky we are to have our real life Shadows. He getting on now but while the sun is high me and my Shadow are out wandering the hills around RedRock and the strands about Howth.Well someone has to show Baily around,,a beautiful set,Your Shadow must be all the happier with your retirement,,From one Shadow to another,,WOOF.
He is looking rather well on my Pf tonight,,even if I do say so myself,,
