v1 for me Peter. Interesting how most of the birds are on the diagonal as well as the paving Smile

Very interesting Peter - for me V2 seems to get me concentrating better. The paving looks in pristine condition - not one tiny weed in the joins!!

Well captured Peter, the soft curves of the birds and their shadows offset by the strong lines of the paving - Carole

Both very clever, for the use of the diagonal lines in the paving to reinforce the strong diagonal shadows. I go for V1, square enhances the abstract quality whereas landscape is more pictorial.

I prefer V1 here, although they are both excellent compositions. Love those shadows and lines.
