Sharp edge this is known as the bad step in wet weather, snow or ice its extremely dangerous to cross and it wasn't wise of him to look down as its a knee trembler you cant judge it very well from this shot but its a long way down, most people who fell from here died or had horrendous injuries.

Fine shot, but most people (me included) go over the top to his left so you don't have to risk this.
