The rocks at Sharrow Point, Whitsand Bay in Cornwell. Taken just after the sun had slipped below the horizon.

Decided to put on a 10 Stop LBF to see what kind of exposure and image I would get. The exposure time was 968 seconds @f16 (about 16 minutes).

I'm pretty pleased with the results.

Love the contrast between the smoothness of the sea and the sharpness of the rocks great work.

Love the exposure on this which results in a wonderful soft appearance to the water and sky with some wonderful tones. Short-listed

I just have to agree with this coment Colin. Fantastic capture.
Can I ask however, did you really expose for 968 secs or have I misread something ????

Very interesting effect from the big stopper.......looks almost like the tops of mountain ridges poking through a cloud layer.

Thanks for the comment Ronnie. Funny enough quite a few people I've shown this too have said the same thing.
