I like the composition Dougie with the large triangle in the bottom left corner - and those colours in the slate are wonderful interspersed with the trees.

Wonderful array of colours in the slate beds, nicely shown here with the seams on tue diagonal and as you say nature's greens will cover up the slate more and more in no time.
