Again, another image from home using 2 lights, soft box as key light for butterfly effect, and another light behind me to make the hair pop out, yanks call them kicker lights, i like that term actually.

Colours tweaked using the r,b and g channels of the curves adjustments layers independently.

Good bit of backlight to define the hair and but the soft hazy look is not something i'm a fan of - though its popular on a few recent uploads.
Also the lighting looks quite hard on your face, I'd use a softbox closer up (the further away a light source is the more directional it is).
The pose and the orange work well.

I had a 60x60 softbox about 2 feet from me, the bottom of the box was level with my eyes looking downwards slightly, the harsh lines are actually wrinkles i think Sad lol the plan was to make the fabric light up, which worked in a few images but i didnt like them so wont be uploading them anywhere ever lol will keep trying though, it glows a lovely shade of orange when backlit, the backlight probably needs to be further away for the effect to be perfect and even, as it was i was only 3 feet away form the backlight.

Will have another go but will substitute the softbox for a shoot through brolly and see if i cant get rid of those shadows, or ill just fake it and use a surface blur and layer mask Smile
