Didn't get out this weekend with the camera so making do with the less photogenic bugs. This is a pretty small beastie and I did toy with cropping in really close. As it is, the square format means that the insect is almost in the middle. It was either that or to one side but heading out of the picture.

A lovely little bug, and you've captured the detail very well. Even so, I cannot find an ID in my book. The composition looks fine to me.
