Hi Folks,
Thank you all for the kind comments and clicks for 'Return to Saltwick Bay', they are very much appreciated. My recent coastal shots seem to have 'struck a chord' so I shall persevere with them. This one was taken on Tuesday evening on a trip out with steviehutch to Runswick Bay. Steve kindly waited for me to get this shot despite it getting late and him having to be up for work at 4 o'clock Wednesday morning. Cheers Steve, I hope you think it was worth it. Several Curve Adjustment Layers have been used in the processing as well as a Colour Selection Layer to slightly darken the brightest part of the sky. The foreground rock is known in geologistic terms as a Shield Reef, which I will talk more about in a future upload.
I am always happy to read any and all comments, thanks for dropping by, have a smashing evening.
Dave

Hey, I was thinking of going to Runswick these last few evenings, but haven't managed to get there. This makes me wish I'd made more effort. It's lovely. A fine composition and gentle colour.

Great colours /tones and the slightly unusual take on Runswick Bay is refreshing to see. Love the sky reflections in the pools . A top class image here again Dave ....Phil

Love this, Dave. That fg has real impact and the magenta hues are very appealing.
