The contrast of these small men against the massive ship they were painting was quite dramatic,and I didnt envy the task! Taken at Falmouth dockyard, Cornwall.

Impressive and well spotted.
I would have liked to have seen them painting away with those big rollers and feel that would make for a stronger image. Also looks a tad flat on my monitor and a little boost in contrast/brightness and maybe a tad more saturation would help.
None the less an interesting picture and I like the composition.

This is a terrific shot Nick, and you were in the right place at the right time.
The large expanse of gray with the colourful rig in the lower right quadrant made for a very natural composition that looks very good.
It can benefit with being a little brighter, and having the shadows lifted on the painters as in the mod, - and Ive also cropped one line off the left to lace them more on a third intersection.
Well done on spotting this unique shot!
