Another shot from the Holsworthy motor club 40th anniversary run that I was asked to shoot last week.
good double portrait Pooch; nice use of the fisheye. they seem to be enjoying themselves. Most photos I take are candids; I should try some more like these though
Thanks Koen, I was asked to take as many photos as possible of the club members and had to be really cheeky to get up this close, you virtually have to dodge the nose hair with this lense, and I have to make sure my feet are not in the shot quite often, such is the field of view.
an excellent fish-eye double portrait !
works very good!
keep them coming
Great stuff Pooch, looks like a great day was had by all.
Great shot Pooch, fish eye working out nicely.
Really beautiful Pooch with excellent tones, light and detail and it reminds me of my childhood which is always good!
Yeah I know what you mean Mark,I used to dodge the school bus and hop over my grandads back fence and spend all day with him making things like model planes, telescopes, and talking about cameras, as he was a very keen amateur photographer. He also owned an Indian chief motorcycle, so it always beat going to school for me and I miss his company an awful lot bless him.
Another great fish eye shot - knew it was yours instantly!! Lyns x
Fine shot Pooch, and full of character.
Hi-Ya Pooch! A shot that has a timeless quality to it. Instantly drawn to the womans dress as My much beloved and missed Grandmother used to wear dresses just like that.Nylon and crimplene eh!Great capture.
love the expressions.. looks like they're in their element there!...fab shot too btw
Great shot Pooch, really took me back to my childhood, thanks
nice one mate...those two look like they have been transported straight from the 1950's..
excellent candid portrait
Very Devon Pooch, very Holsworthy, but for complete authenticity the car should have been a Rover.
Cracking tones and detail on this. You are doing these things so well that you are almost winning me round to B&W.
Incredible pf Pooch! love the clarity of this image - very 50's -damn I hope I'm that happy when I get older, might need to start smoking a pipe instead of cigarettes! you don't have a link to Anthony's pf yet - shitzkit...
Love it - this put a big smile on my dial immediately upon viewing! Well done on a terrific b&w portrait full of personality ...
lovely charactor shot
great B&W tones, works well. loads of charater.
An excellent character study which works very well in black & white. The small amount of lens distortion gives it a journalistic feel.
Totally brilliant....feel like I know the people already.
Excellent shot. Love both expressions.
Oh, this is just great!
The b&w really makes it!
I thought it was darlin Harold for a minute..but he wasn't wearing his Gannex so it couldnt be....
Thanx Poochie for honest comment. I eresed the writing, and yes it looks much better.
I like that kind of photos, like documental story from National Geographic.
A magic capture..
Hurray Its finally gone 30 after all this time, thanks chris this is still my personal favourite shot in my gallery.
