Third image from the Lavender fields of Kent. Please stop me if these become a little repetitive they are all different, but all lavender.

A lovely soft feel to this and like the way the tones in the sky compliment the Lavender. My only little niggle is the horizon angle and while I realise this may be the lay of the land I just feel it would look better if the horizon was level and the image was a little more balance especially as you have such strong perspective.
Love the image though and off to look at the others
Ian
The lines of perspective lead beautifully into the middle distance where there is that wonderful section of detail.
So many images of lavender fields lead the eye in and straight through, but that lit detail really holds the attention well Derek ![]()

For me the undulating horizon makes it more interesting
Helen
The light and texture seems to give a wave-like motion to the lavender. I like the composition and the sky colour is beautifully complementary to the lavender.

Thanks for your comments Ian, Helen and Desmond. The horizon does look like this. I actually like the undulation on the horizon and trying to straighten it would do some pretty weird things to the angle of the trees etc.
Derek
Many thanks for the UA Nathan. Its very much appreciated.
Lavender goes on and on, so why not. It's just as beautiful and fantastically detailed.

You've got wonderful detail in the lavender Derek. Love the moody skies which complement the lavender so well - could only be England! In France you'd have blue skies and fluffy white clouds - I think I prefer your version every time!
I see these fields from the train when I go up to London but I'll have to try to find them by car.

Superb shot, Derek. Beautifully composed and processed.
