A fantastic shot of this shy and often elusive bird, the detail and colours in the plumage are immaculate. You've really nailed this one
What a wonderful image. This is the first time I have seen a jay in such complete detail.
A profile shot of the jay this time, Keith, still showing the unusual plumage, and I think I detect a sort of smile on the bird's face. Since we only usually see these as they fly off, disturbed by our arrival, it's good to see its beauty up close.
