Thank you for all your votes and comments on recent images. Continuing with my mono theme here is a street view from Sienna. v2 is the untouched original for comparison.

Thanks for looking
Jason

V1 is an excellent classic B&W, V2 is great with warm colours. I like the compo. If I am to choose only one of them, it would be the mono conversion.

Very well converted, Jason, more detail and depth, and the tower stands out so well against the sky.

Love these kind of street views: V 2 with the colour ticks all the boxes for me........I feel the 'flavour' of the town is more alive in colour than B and W.......but that's just me.
Ronnie.

I feel a bit like Ronnie that Sienna is a town you'd think of in colour.
Having said that the conversion does bring out more detail in many parts,
especially the tower and shaded areas on left.
Lovely image whichever version.

The mono works really well Jason - again it brings out lots of detail and texture, although I am rather partial to the colour version!

Seeing as how I am well into the b&w period of my photographic journey, I have to plump for V1, Jason. Far more detail and depth, with important detail standing out more than in the original.
