Three Turkish boys were on a surf board messing about in the harbour, when two of them got out they sat on this boat (presumably their parent's) and posed for this shot. I was some distance away so used a 135mm lens at 1/500th sec, F5.6. ISO 100 to capture this, so I couldn't use fill-in flash to eridacte the shadows!
This has been cropped from the original hence the lower quality (See Modification), shadow detail added, highlights darkened and warmed up (using warm up filter set at 25%) and saturated (15%).
All comments and votes very welcome indeed.
Andrew.

Nice detail & definition that makes a good image but I think for me the original composition is a better shot. I have done a mod of the original with a slight anticlockwise rotation as I felt that it didn’t quite sit right. Feel free to rubbish it.
Rob
Hi Rob,
Thanks for the modification, I always appreciate it when people make an effort to improve on someone's image. It's a real honour in fact. I suppose with ePHOTOzine, the thumbnail has to have impact otherwise no-one would look at it (I get little interest as it is!), so I made a consciuos effort to crop the image to give it more impact (with only 30 views so fat it hasn't exactly rocked the ePHOTOzine world!).
Thank you for your effort, it's certainly an improvement on my original post. I included the original so people could compare it with the quality of the cropped version.
Thanks again for your time.
Andrew.
