I got this shot earlier this year and had a few goes at processing it in Lightroom 2 and CS4.
As I am in the early stages of learning I get very different results each time.
Any thoughts / sugestions on this result ?

Love it
Good comp and detail, right down to the very distracting fly on the nose ( for the Deer ).
This is a lovely photo and nice and sharp. I have added a modification.
Pleaase have a look and see what you think.

Thanks all, a bit a reassurance is probably all I needed.
Wheelie, I hadent even noticed the green, well spotted.
As you say, very subtle but very effective.
Thanks again all
A very good shot indeed with a nice pose and good eye contact. I have offered a mod that basically cleans the image up a bit. First I cropped to try and place the head closer to the upper left third. Then I cloned out the fly, grass and a few blemishes at the top. Like Wheeliebug I desaturated the neck a little.
I hope this meets with your approval.
Phil

Thanks Philo, your mod does clean up the photo but as Paul says
either way works, clean or natural.
Thanks all.
