Thought I would share this for Silly Sunday - but it is also serious - I took this in Namibia and we saw first hand how a big Warthog dashed full speed across the road nearly being hit by the car in front of us !
Well spotted and captured.
Quite a hazard! In my area the only hazardous wild animals we have on the roads are kangaroos.
Nice one Herman.
Well done. WesternRed.
What are you supposed to do if you are walking?
Must have been impressive!
Not to be seen in a UK country lane. Nice one Herman
Fortunately, only a rabbit has done that in front of me!
Good capture Herman bet that was scary seeing them on the road .
Why does this remind me of PUMBA!!!
Have a great day dear Herman...
Your friend ..
Ha ha but I see your point ouch.
good one ...i imagine they could make a real mess of the car if you did hit one
Well spotted Herman. Over here its the deer that cause the hazards
Yes, a good reminder of other traffic on the roads in different countries
Well spotted and beautifully captured.........
A well spotted capture, Herman.
Great image Herman, they are not to be messed with.
Great idea for silly Sunday! but not if your on the run from one of those lol. like it regards Leon.
Great Silly Sunday shot but not so great if one of these hit the car.
Great shot well spotted we have zebra crossings over here lol .
Great capture, it is the same with deer crossing the roads over here.
Brilliant shot, thankfully we done those those wandering round near me
A great one Herman
Nice one, Herman and it made me chuckle, closest thing over here would be a sign, look out for frogs crossing the road during the mating season.
Made me smile,
Good POV to put it in the context. I like the white and the black horn.
When I was in Oz, there were loads of localised warning sign, but what appeared was always the animal they didn't mention!
Great one Herman, but he looks a bit like a bull who's horns have slipped to a moustache position. Don
nice to share this with us Herman..not a sign most of us can even imagine existing!!
Nice one Herman, we also have Pelican Crossings here, but never seen a pelican cross one yet, nor a zebra for that matter ... Carol
With the number of dead badgers on our local roads a sign would make no difference!! Never seen a warthog in the wild they look very amusing on telly.
Makes a change from seeing elk & moose signs etc like it
What a great sign, the only ones we get here are ones for sheep, cattle, horses and deer and very occasionally for toads and frogs crossing the road!
