I captured this image on walk about in the Prestbury Hill Nature Reserve in the Cotswold, the birds were not there at the time of shutter release but everything else was.
Thanks for yesterdays constructive comments, please let me know what you think of this effort.

Very effective in mono. The textures of the sky and the grass almost reflect each other.
Excellent mono with a superb comp, good lighting love the tones .
