Pools of water from the receding tide on the salt marshes at Silverdale just before sunset. You can just see the old smelting chimney top right.
Hope you like.

A wonderfully observed, composed, exposed and captured lowlight coastal image with great light and colour.

Sinuous lead in, lovely lighting and the fragmented clouds echo the many pools on the marsh. It does get quite dark on the land towards the horizon and I just wondered if your ND grad has slipped a little low?

Al - you're quite right - in fact I pulled the ND grad below the level of the top pools as the highlights were blowing there - I've uploaded a version with the horizon lightened a little.
Thanks
Geoff

Well spotted by Al, and well corrected in v2, Geoff. The sky with reflection is a beauty.
