I have never had Nuthatch's at any of my feed station and last week I spotted some so went in pursuit today and guess what (cracked it Brian). I think this photo would have been pretty much impossible in the light conditions without the trusty 5D mk iii. It really has opened up amazing possibilities for my photography.

Thanks to all the attention on the Jay posting all very much appreciated.

All comments, clicks and critiques very welcome.

Thanks for taking a look.

David

Very well captured shot of the nuthatch, David: your Canon and telephoto (700mm.) have served you well. At that distance I'd never even have seen your subjectWink.

At that ISO and no visible noise, I would say it is fantasticSmile

Don't know if it has been run through any noise reduction software, but I cannot tellSmile

Mind you, I have no knowledge of, or ever used anyGrin
