Beautifully caught! Because it's facing into the light it has rather over exposed the chest (as you point out), but if it had faced the other way the face would have been shadowed. Smile

as you and Karen have said the whites in the chest are slightly burnt out, but i like the light you have caught it in nice one

Not an easy subject to capture in strong directional and contrasty light Oli.
If you get the chance to try this again try taking a number of shot with differing exposure times varying speeds and apertures. This way you will stand a much better chance of getting a more manageable image. Its always going to be a compromise tho.
