A simple shot of some yachts at sunset with a straight mono conversion.

Perfect Mark, just perfect.
A lovely stillness.
One of my favourites, Mark Carol
Super image Mark
so calm ...
used to live on my yacht in Bursledon....
never seemed calm like this beauty is
That is an absolutely beautiful image. Composition perfect! The exposure just right to enhance the calmness.
Simply lovely - no evidence of any movement of the yachts.
Can't get more peaceful than this.
Off to the posh shop to sell it Mark?
Stylish is all that really needs to be said about this, but can't leave without saying that this image just oooozes quality.
Calm and bright lol . Lovely work Mark
Simple but just right.
Must have been very still...... 20 sec and the boats are soooo sharp........... Brilliant!
Fine piece of minimalism work.
What They^^^ said!
A Stunning image, Great work, Mark.
You are correct Diane, it was at slack tide.
I like the low contrast and vertical format, Mark, but I've had a sneak preview of the colour version as well .....
oh... and your thoughts?
Love the colours, Mark, especially the red hull. Have you played with different crops on it?
reminding me of some postcards I bought at a L.C. Tiffany museum---did you know that he dabbled in photography---- Way back around 1900, very spare images, mostly seemingly in sepia tones.
No I haven't Dave, this one and the colour one are two different images and I try to vary the "crops" in camera, but I can and will have a play to see what I can come up with. Thanks for your comments I appreciate them.
Simple and serene. It must have been perfectly still, a 20 second exposure and the masts are perfectly sharp. Super work mate.
Mark, this worked so well with all that blue that I couldn't imagine it working in mono. However, it is as striking in mono as it is in full color.
