I found this triptych Statue of Sir John Barbirolli conducting the Halle Orchestra quite challenging to photograph....as you can see the sculpture is on three sides and I actually prefer the black and white version I've posted over on my blog....some say that it is a very expressive sculpture capturing the action, but by 'eck, it didn't half frighten me when I was up close and personal with it!!!
The bronze statue was sculptured by Byron Howard and is installed in the Sculpture Hall, in the Town Hall, Manchester, a beautiful victorian gothic building, worthy of a visit....
