A very good set of shots. I think the lovely lichen encrusted branch transforms this from just another bird shot into something even non birdies can enjoy.

A lovely set, once again, Brian, but then I wouldn't expect anything else! I'm giving my vote this morning to V4, Love those little ruffled feathers as well as the inquisitive look. Can't miss out my oft stated "love that perch" as well, the details of the Lichen being superb.

Stunning set of images. What a pretty little bird. We used to get these in our garden but sadly the last couple of winters they havn't been around , it's the same with the goldfincehes too.SadSad
