I put a similar one into a comp and was critised by the judge for the bridge spans touching each other, what does he know, great shot of a great area

I like the composition but perhaps you could try cropping tight to the top of the first bridge. This would lose the sky (as I don't personally think it adds anything to the shot) and focus the eye on the scene more I think. A different viewpoint than a lot of shots you see but it works and a good lead-in.
