Super capture, Dean.
But I have issue with your title.
Feral pigeons are referred to as flying rats, as they
carry many diseases harmful to humans. The good old
"woody" may be a pain in the neck to the farming community
but a flying rat he is not.![]()

Let's not have any contempt for the lowly pidgeon . He is a beauty and so is your image. No contempt for sea gulls either. Very smart as they are first to investigate when one tosses french fries at the beach. Crows are second in that regard. TG
People need to do their research on Feral Pigeons as well as Wood Pigeons, they do not carry "diseases" harmful to humans.... They can transmit one main disease and that is only if you are a bit lacking when it comes to Personal Hygiene and common sense!
Lovely picture of a beautiful bird though
Regards
Sammy
A terrific landing shot Dean, you've timed this one to perfection
