The two pictures I am uploading this morning came about because of a whim,,,I liked the sound of the ROAD name.Sky Road, what a beautiful stunning drive. There was only one person I wanted to share it with but couldnt,so I did the next best thing and took this photo.
In the aul jeep it was comfortable,it was handy to stop and admire the stunning views.Mind you the roads are narrow,,very narrow at times, lol. The trick as always is to pull over while trying not to hold up or piss off the locals, lol.
From Galway to Clifden,as you come into Cliden look for a road sign,SKY Road. You will be heading west and towards Gortrummagh and Fahy.
Fahy is where I took the second shot at the little slipway. It's one road in and one out,I could see locals being browned off with a lot of visitors,to many park here you would be bunched,
Anyway thanks to nerves of steel from my lot we parked rather close to the edge of the road,oh there are fences alright but nothing stopping a 2and half ton jeep,so careful is the way to go.
An area I will return to,,not a holiday promise it's a must,,I was browsing the map last night and realised there was so much missed.Any way here is Sky Road.Captured on a whim.
Thanks as ever for Your Time and Interest in what I have Seen.
