Taken after a very wet night near to the bridge at Sligachan on the Isle of Skye.
As the weather could have been better I just grabbed the camera and left everything else including memory cards in the car, with only a few shots left on the card I soon finished the space up and was happy with what I had. On returning to the car I looked down the loch and the sight was amazing, two large waterspouts in a squall, mad panic to turn camera on then find and delete picture only to find both spouts had gone. Now I make sure after my last shot I have another card and load that, but surprisingly haven't needed it yet. Have a good week and thanks for looking.

I thought it may be colour from the thumb - I have seen the view looking almost monochromatic a number of times Wink Great shot, never seen the river that high myself (I seem to spend a lot of weekends on Skye!). I love how it is full of energy and moody threat, it would probably be more so with a bit more contrast!

A cautionary tale (which many of us can relate to!) and a superb photograph Derek.
Perhaps the darkening of the clouds is a bit over the top for my taste (though I realise that it's almost obligatory these days!) but the rest is superb - just glad it was you brave enough to be out in that weather not meSmile
Good work.
