This is another shot that I took during our recent holiday on Skye. Taken from the beach, looking towards the Cuillan Hills. This evening we had some small clouds that coloured the sky when the sun was setting.
I am very new to landscape photography. It was the first time that I hassled with a tripod (mine was too wobbly, still some frames were moved), tried out grad filters (can't see enough them to focus well...), and polarising filters (do you also have to rotate when you go from landscape orientation to portait) and a wide angle lens (what a lot of scenery do you get with that lens).
Quite an adventure for me. Please tell me what you think of these efforts!

Love it, great shot....wouldnt be the same without the green on the foreground rocks!
amazing shot, works fantastically. When I have the time this is the sort of shot I want to get, though I'm sure it will take me some time!
