One from the start of the year at Frinton. Off here again tonight and then hopefully a trip to Herringfleet Mill with Jon and Chris C before Christmas.
Judged a competition at a local camera club the other night and looking at all of the great images and with some time on my hands over the festive period decided its time to get the camera out again.

Though the sky looks stormy there is a feeling of serenity and harmony flowing through this one.

Beautiful David - love the tones and the way the sea melts into the sky. Unbelieveably good sunset in Lowestoft too tonight so hopefully you got some good stuff.

ps. Herringfleet is like a bog at the moment so don't forget the wellies.

Well! Bit of a disaster! Left a bit late and decided that Frinton was to far away. Dived into Brightlingsea and wandering about looking for some inspiration got well and truly stuck in the mud! Spent 30 minutes getting out after abandoning my wellies.drove home for a bath with mud everywhere and didn't shoot a single image. Gary I suppose I had better get a new pair for Tuesday.
Oh, and it did look like a great sunset, shame I missed it!

Shame about your visit tonight, but this is a beauty from your archives. As Martin says, proof you need to be out (and upload) more!

Thanks Maddie. And to you and himself. Kevin you should see the mud on my tripod of has to be seen to be believed! A lesson learnt though and I am glad I checked the tide tables!
