Fantastic shot.
You have really made something out of nothing with the light here.
Simon.
Lovely shot, very atmospheric. I particularly like the clouds brushing the Cullins.
Dave
Wow! fantastic shot. what was the exposure? Well worth bearing the elements for, but yellow?
big click
;-p
Stunning shot, know the place well and it's very hard not to make the place look desolate but you've worked wonders. Fantastic.
Tracy
What a stunner - not keen on the yellow part of the frame 'tho.
Excellent image. The detail and tones in the rocks are superb. The moving water looks brilliant and it is all topped by snow capped hills disappearing into moody clouds. I like the composition also with the foreground focal point off to the left and the background one to the right. Top work.
Steve
Sums up the Cullins perfectly - it's been like this every time I've climbed them. Lovely shot - great blend of subject, texture and light.
Edward
Just caught up with this after seeing today's image.
This is just superb! Congrats on a well deserved EC ....click

Hello Stewart, congrats on the EC...such a fine shot with great effects on the water and the Skye mountain backdrop is so atmospheric. Nice work.
Doug.
There is lots I like about this image but the water effect is the least of it. It has no resemblance to real water in coulour and texture. Other than the falling water it looks a molten slaggy grey mess. For me this is a shame because the rest of the image is excellent.
A cracking shot - makes me want to be there. Great portfolio too.
Just a stunning image.
I love the softness of the water and the jagged rocks...
Congrats
Mike
This is just wonderful. Many congratulations on getting a much deserved photo of the week. Big click from me.

Absolutely fantastic shot. I love this location and you have done it justice indeed.
Absolutely amazing. What more can I say...apart from Stunning. Not often Im lost for words, but I shall try to describe what I feel when viewing this image. Its oozes tranquillity. Theres sharp textured edges balanced with the smooth flowing of water... not forgetting the effect given by the superb lighting which gives this image a sense of 3Dism. It feels as though Im actually there, as if I can smell and touch the surroundings. And boy, am I looking forward to the day when I can produce an image that instil such feelings.
wonderfull, love everything about this photo. well done.
Justin
This is a first class landscape. You have managed to combine aerial perspective with a beautifull soft light and perfect rendering of the water and sky. The other thing that makes it stand out is that it is almost monochromatic. This lends it an air of subtle mystery.
Classy shot at the well visited area(by me too) you have a better shot than I have managed at this magnetic place.
All the best and well done,
Dougie
