Fresh crisp colours - placing the mountains centrally works well here,

Nice scene. It may be an old picture but it's still well worth showing.

Morning, Dougie. Hope you don't mind if I reply for Moira: we camped opposite the Sligachan Hotel for a week in '76 amid the rain and the midges, it was the week when my head for heights finally cried "Enough!" as did my appreciation of camping.........
Strangely I don't remember the Falls, probably because sufficient water was descending from the clouds; and I suppose I was less aware of such sights then.

Cracking image this one, crisp and clear.
Regards
Bill

Well worth the clear out Dougie - a very enticing image (unless you have the Bill/Moira experience!)

No Mike I was staying in the Hotel, camping is not for me, I loved sailing and that was quite cramped at times, but in a tent, no way.

Another similarity between the two of us - as much as I like Scotland, if I had to stay in a tent... I supose I would end up like the Woolybills!
Super image of this fantastic place, great sky and skyline, great fg.
Hope you're well,
Johanna

This is one of those rare upifting photos which leaves you staring at it for aeons! Is it the moodiness over the mountain tops..the fresh chill of the snow capped peaks ..... the water gushing over the rocks or the promise of summer days ahead in the blue of the sky .... maybe it's all these things in one. What ever it is, it works its magic.

There is more water in it than when I was there Dougie.
A classic view in my opinion.
