Taken just before a massive rainstorm at the Sligachan River on the Isle of Skye.....luckily the pub was close to hand for awesome hot chocolate and flapjack and to dry off Smile

Great composition. Fantasic light and the storm clouds stand out really well. You deserved the hot chocolate Smile. Colin

T'was nice hot chocolate wasn't it ... though I opted for the carrot cake ... yummmmmmm Smile

Shot's not bad either, you caught the 'light' that I missed whilst walking further upstream.

Very strong composition from a marvellous POV. Love the way you have captured the running water...great sense of rushing movement.

You've caught the mood of Sligachan just right here Richard, I'm sure that Sandy will be pleased with your appreciation of his fine boozer. I've stayed in the Hotel a few times, cheery place.

Rain and hot chocolate, is a combination I can live with. How many sleeps is it to Pitlochry?

Not sure how many sleeps Neil, but it'll fly by....can't wait to get back up there for some autumn mist and colours.

It would be a good place to stay Dougie, nice and central for accessing Skye....and the local ale looks good too Smile
