Nice one Ed, perfectly captured
Don't see as many as we used to around these parts Ed', but did see one or two this Summer.
Smashing shot of one.
I love jackdaws - we have a roost nearby. This is a super capture Ed!
Good exposure for the dark colours & eye detail, Ed.
What fantastic eye detail, - very good shot. Does benefit being slightly brighter, and a little sharper as in the mod, - which is also cropped.
Great shot, they are a beautiful bird with their black cap, we have many every day in our garden by the bird feeding tray, they come down with the rooks.
He's a cracker Ed, excellent detail, A very uner-rated bird.
Could be a veteran who has lost his leg in battle, good capture with exposure right for the eye.
I like these birds Ed. Such lively and energetic creatures. Caught so terrific plumage detail.
I assume it has part of its undercarriage up Ed with the one leg here !!
Yes it has, if you look closely you can see one raised claw
Lovely shot of this beautiful bird !!!!!......he'd make a wonderful 'mate' sitting on the shoulder of a one-legged 'pirate !!!!!!!.
Looked carefully and spotted his claw and admird his easy pose although I think he is very alert to what is going on around him!
Nice one, bringing out detail on a black subject isnt easy and you've done it
My left foot!!! great capture
Why can't I see the mod as well? Good shot with fine feather detail - Ina
good one Ed
A great capture Ed!
he's a mean looking bird, great shot Ed
A really fine Jackdaw shot Ed. Carole
A difficult subject to expose for but you have managed very well, Ed.
Many thanks for all your comments and clicks, they are much appreciated, Ed
a great bird shot, what a lovely pose
Good plumage detail and a sharp eye Ed.
Fine detail and focus on the eye just as it should be Ed,
An excellent image, one where the main subject stands out extremely well and is very nicely composed too.
