Managed to get out with my camera yesterday at last GrinGrinGrin

This was taken at Astbury Mere CP. One of these days I will have to get myself a macro lens but in the meantime I am quite pleased with the extent to which I can crop the massive images produced by the D800.

Thanks for looking
Jason

Great to see a skipper - we don't see many butterflies or skippers in Scotland at all in recent years.
I might have cropped the flower from the left side leaving just the skipper and flower on right?

The 24-70mm appears to a magnificent job as a macro lens--- Very impressive image!
