Hey there,
Hope you all had a terrific weekend and enjoyed some free time.
I know I did. And those of you who couldn't - I enjoyed a little bit for you's as well
Well let me get back to the pic above. I know I already uploaded this a while ago, and many of you though that it needed a little bit more contrast, and I also agreed to your assessment. The thing is that somehow I deleted the original and here I am needing to upload again as a new pic. (Pity as now I lost a day of uploading a new pic - but now worries).
Hope you like this better guys.
It's my have pic so far. ![]()
Cheers

Definitely looks more dramatic. If I could point out just one minor thing is that the knot coming out of the right "eye" is slightly blown-out now, you can barely tell where the edges are. A similar situation, on a minor scale, can be seen with the links in the "smile" chain. Try to drag the highlights slider to the left a bit, to reduce highlights a bit and see if you can recover all the edges.
Regardless, I liked this the first time and still do - it's got character and now it's better than before. Just watch out when messing with high-contrast that you don't blow out some sections of the image. ![]()

Firstly I'd like to thank you for pointing the minor highlights issue as I noticed them also myself. When I checked the original it was somewhat dull and no detail at all. So I decided to crank up the contrast and balance it with a good dose of highlights.
I'm sure that if I try to take this pic some other time I'll be able to get a better natural lighting to it.
Will see and upload another version in the near future.
Thank you once again mate.
I like this. I think it needs to be more graphic, - higher contrast, sharper. Alistair is right, but the wire, - its a three pair telephone cable, is beyond repair, - perhaps use the burn tool to darken. One suggestion, since its tilted a little, is to straighten it.
Ive uploaded two mods, - as suggested changes applied, - and in mod2 I removed the wire, - but it works better with it.
Hope you like the mod,
regards
Willie
