Taken at a very short notice visit to a steam fair, only popped in after seeing the AA signs... I do love these events the smells of the coal and steam, the characters not the mention that beautiful machines.

He's a marvellous character, complete with fag, and I do like the way he's lurking behind the steam. Superb retro and understated colours. Altogether a most excellent shot and his natural pose behind all those lovely levers makes this my winner.
