Ice hunting again but with the thaw of the last couple of days it seems to be melting everywhere! This is Loch Morlich, a big body of water but it does freeze over. Melting again now but the water on the ice held some reflections. The Cairngorm ski centre is visible in the background disappearing into the cloud. Going to head to the Green Loch later this week, apparently it's still frozen over. Grin
For now I'm off to visit my mum 2 valleys away at Balmoral (not resident in the castle!) so we'll see what the snow is like over that way; have to pass through the Lecht ski centre to get there.

Good point Jeremy. Will be back later this week to try again but I suspect most of the ice will be gone by then!
