An almost full frame capture (a little cropped off from the LHS and top) of a wild male Adder (Vipera berus) taken on the South Downs a couple of weeks ago, handheld from a distance of 0.7m. this chap was coiled in striking position with his eyes firmly fixed on my guide!

Many thanks for your overwhelming support of yesterdays Red Squirrel, with a special thank you to Fred(Badgerfred), Ronnie(RonnieAG), David(Chalkhillblue) and Brian(bricurtis) for their User Awards - really appreciated and highly valued - thank you Smile
