No, this isn't the antarctic, it is in fact Greece! Not the usual picture you think of when thinking of Greece but the 2nd day of January brought close to 1 meter of snow in just 5 hours overnight and the temperature hasn't got above -3 all day today...strange to think in 4 months time it's going to be 35-40c again.....
This was taken 2 minutes drive from the town where I live, Polygyros in Halkidiki.
Bring on the summer!
