Good use of mono.
the refractions of the lamp post, the snowflakes, the point of view all come togheter in giving the sense of a winter night.
I can feel the silence of the snow!
Great picture, gives a real feeling of winter. I've taken the liberty of correcting the tilt on the building. I don't think i've improved it.
Thank you and thank you Patrick for correcting the tilt! I haven't used this type of wide angle lense since I had my "Landscape Photography" phase with my first camera.
Since the lens hood is so much shorter on the 16-35 than on the 24-70 I had to be a bit more careful not to get snow on the lens.
Snow, darkness plus light. This is just amazing, the sort of vision that only the camera can achieve. The angle doesn't bother me here, in fact I rather like it - the building seems to be straining towards the light.
Really lovely effect Ellie
Tusen takk, Moira og Willie! Veldig hyggelig!
