The red hills of Skye, only they're more white than red on this occasion. I've converted to mono as I thought it suited the scene better.

I look at every shot I take in mono, and surprisingly many work better than colour. This image is strong, powerful, great range in graduation and plenty of umphhh. A great shot, well seen and taken.

Tom.

Very nicely observed. The rock and snow at the bottom right really holds the image together.
