Afternoon everyone !
Thanks for your comments & clicks on my last up-load SWIRL.
Looks like we are in for a cold spell according to the forecast - had a look back through my images and found this one taken this time last year !
Best large !

Looks very cold indeed, but seasonal.
Great capture and I'm sure you will be out like a flash if we do get that snow!!

A super image Chris, but I hope that the forecasters are wrong!

Technically, in my opinion, this photograph has been well-taken; I think the exposure is correct and the focussing looks sharp to me.
Artistically, I think the composition of the photograph is very good. The horizon has been placed in the frame according to The Rule Of Thirds, give or take a sixth. The diagonal lines in the cloud formation draws the eyes of the viewer into the composition towards a vanishing point in the centre of the horizon, adding an impression of depth, so important in a landscape. If I were to make a suggestion as to how the composition might be improved, I would say that it needs something of interest in the foreground. Nevertheless, even as it stands this photograph is still worth a vote.
You're right, Chris, it is best large! A beautiful winter scene, excellently exposed, with good colours.

Those shadows falling over the snow add a lot of texture and depth, a really crunchy feel.

Nice one Chris, but as the weather is freezing here on a cold Monday morning,I would rather have seen a shot of you sitting in a beach bar in the Bahama's being served a cold beer by a dusky, busty, barmaid !!
Just have some consideration man !!

Morning Mick - I'd rather be sitting at a beach bar in the Bahama's too than sitting here shivering. But ........... I'd rather have a lovely bronzed bloke with a six pack serving me if it's all the same to you. (Being a Christine and not a Christopher) - Thanks for the laugh though !
