Very nice snow lepord...
Looks like camera selected noce as focal point...
You real need the eyes 100% sharp...
A higher DOF that the F stop it neede to be F18 + .......
You seem to be very close so you moving in to macro area so DOF get smaller the closer you go..
I hope this helps and also see if you can move the focal point on camera..
Your camera says Metering Mode: Multi-segment find single point and slect area you want sharp...

Morning Dave. Thankyou for the comments as always. Hopefully going again on Thursday so will have a look at practicing my settings etc, I know I can change the focal and metering mode but when I shoot in aperture I can't pick the aperture, the camera does that as you zoom in or out. Really need to try shutter speed as have more of a free hand with that, just by the time I've faffed and figured the animal will have moved Tongue

Did a bit of digging on the camera. You cant select an individual focus point; when shooting this Leopard, there should be a number of green focus points that should include the plane of the eyes as well as the nose; it will "prefer" the closest part of the scene; It does however have a manual focus; press the circular button on the back towards the flower icon and keep clicking until M is selected. Try manual focusing, worth a shot.

regards

Willie
