Another slightly older image i am afraid.

Browsing, sorting and deleting a few images last night and decided this might be worthy of a post - that is after adding a couple of texture layers and then converting to mono.

Personally i prefer the mono but have also uploaded the colour version as i love the eye (which i have done nothing to) . I have erred away from colour-popping the eye within the mono version as i feel that this has been over-done with the subject matter and rarely well.

If anyone is interested i have a simple 'how to' for texture layers using layer masks.

It is not a difficult exercise and would give a better result if i had the time / patience / inclination to spend more than 2 minutes applying it. See user Dormay for far better examples.

Bookmarked the link, cheers, Phil.

v1 for me too. The eye is the focus of attention, the pink tongue splits this attention (well, it does mine Grin).

Two very good images, both interesting in their own way. I am in favour of using any available technologies if the image is enhanced.
