Window light to the right side and a reflector to the left, which actually seems to have caught the vase more than the flowers (not the intention)
The bg white card made finding a white balance difficult without ruining the snowdrops. I tried various permutations both in camera and in photoshop.

A great capture, I find taking a grey card reading helps when shooting white on white...... Grin

Lovely Fiona,I can see such an improvement in your way of thinking.
Nice whites on the Snowdrops & you have just managed to hold on to the exposure here.Love that little vase it really compliments the colours of the flowers.
The only thing I might suggest is a touch more shadow close to the base of the vase to give it a sense of 'being'. I see there is a little there but I don't think there is quite enough to enhance the shape of the vase....so I did a mod Wink
A couple of bright halos in a few places but that may well be down to compressing the image for posting on here or it could be a sharpening issue, anyway & removed them in my mod (probably not very visible on here but quite evident in Photoshop )
That reflector worked a treat !!
I like the central position of the subject with the flowers making a pretty shape.
Well done !

Thank you all.
Colleen: The grey card thing.....useful tip. I am aware that such is used but never have and need to investigate how to make it work!
Capto: Thanks for taking the time to do the mod. I can see the improvement.
