...no sooner than I had climbed up the hill behind the monument here, than the snow came blowing up the Glen. The view vanished for a while then slowly cleared as the wind dropped a little.
That's snow flakes not dust bunnies. There's one more image to come from here, after the snowstorm.

This was taken back in January 2005

That's one heck of a climb too! But it does afford a super viewpoint! Smile

Need to view LARGE to see all the detail Smile

Great atmospheric shot Dougie. Feels a lot more real than the usual sunshine and blue skies shots! Smile

You have to view it large to see all the excellent elements in this.
Well captured Dougie.
Hope you were well wrapped up.

Dark and moody today Doug. I wasn't impressed with the thumbnail but the large version is magnificant.

That's one fantastic perspective even in a snowstorm. The layering on the right is most impressive and the light is good & mysterious despite the precipitation.

Good timing Dougie. The path up there was like a small stream when I was there last November.

This is the classical sight, yes, but once again you gave it another touch with this moody, broody, threatening sky.
Well done,
Johanna
