A bit of a departure for you Ian!

It's a pleasant enough image but it does need straightening a bit and it's a bit flat.
I've added a mod. in which I've erm, straightened it, increased the exposure a touch using levelas and added some contrast via an "S" curve.
I think that what it really needs is a focal point like a duck or a swan on the water.
Hope this helps.

Bren.

Two good shots. Both a tad flat, needing just a little more contrast.

Added a higher contrast version of V1, and gave you a load of a Swan...

Willie

Perhaps, when I say I've uploaded a mod., I should actually upload it!

V1 is by far the better image compositionally, anfd very pleasant indeed. It does give the impression of leanng quite strongly to the left though?

Paul

A nice shot, personally I'd go a bit darker and a bit more contrast, but it's all down to personal taste at the end of the day.
I have uploaded a mod to show you how I see it.
Wayne
