You should see the other one!
They have had to be separated as fighting each other...
As you know the Lion is one of my favourite Big Cats
and so upsetting to think of this one away from his 2 brothers...
Thank you everyone for your great comments
and To Steve, Hugh and Kate for your User Awards, very much appreciated
Been out today with a new group for U3A
started them off with Photography outdoors....so fingers crossed they will enjoy

My word this is close up and so well detailed Lillian
They don't come much more detailed than that Lillian
Fabulous
Oh WOW Lillian, you have surpassed yourself with this magnificent shot of the most majestic of the big cats, quite outstanding, superb detail and pin sharp too, fabulous shot
Hugh
Wonderful detail in this tight crop, Lillian. He does look like Aslan with this expression.
Dave
Now I suppose you were in the compound (I do not think so ) excellent close up of this magnificent big cat Lillian.
Regards
Trev.
Trying to assert his authority but losing out in the society stakes and finding himself all alone: he does have a rather forlorn countenance, Lillian.
But he will always retail that magnificent appearance no matter whatever else.
A super shot, detail immaculate and filling the frame.
Ronnie.
Scar face. Well captured. Looks so forlorn

Us Leo's Lillian, we brood on things! do not feel sorry for ourselves more Angry! and we become isolated, but more likely to fight in return! and when we do we expect and give no quarter that I have proved time and time again, he is a chess player, nice photo from my favourite champion, regards Leon the Lion.![]()

Always majestic, even though he has a small cut next to his eye! Great close-up and personal view,Lillian!
Maggie
He looks miffed rather than sad, but that's what you get for scrapping. Great lose up.
It comes no better than this, scrapping has left it's mark . superb capture Lillian
John
He does look a little battle scarred!
But what a cracking close-up, Lillian, top-notch work ![]()

A wonderful way to portray him, Lillian, filling the frame with his face and that sorrowful expression.
A tremendous detailed portrait of this grizzled and battle scarred old warrior, he's seen better days rather like my Uncle the Tomcat!![]()
What a face. Absolutely stunning Lillian. You have an amazing talent. Any tips you can give me
Big cats are my favourite.
