Hi

The eye belongs to my girlfriend, Mary.

I was experimenting with some extension tubes. I was using my 17 - 85 IS USM lens, with 3 extension tubes on. I was so close, there was not enough light, so I had her turn towards the window.

I was shooting at ISO 1250, f5.6, 1/60th sec. Once shot, i ran it through Noiseware, on portrait setting. Used a little dodge and burn to tidy up, slight crop, sharpened, and I think that was about it.

Best viewed large, check out the reflection on her eye, stunning on the large version.
