I was hoping to upload a different subject other than rust from my visit to the beach,
but as there was no ladies volleyball match in progress,
I had to revert to my Plan B !!
A very regimented exercise indeed Mick.
I am really glad you reverted to plan B. as in beach. And I like the complementary green. Amazing how two square bolts create a standard hex offspring
I think I have to emmigrate to Scotland for a dryer climate, here even the rust is too wet at the moment. And I got just the thing for you, but as you know best, one has to wait for the right conditions.
and you expect us to believe you've been on a beach?...that's just sand from your playpit!!
Great composition here Mick with good dof, I really like this.
Back to basics - a nuts and bolts approach. A gritty image ... better stop, losing the thread a bit here
good mix of texture

He beat me to those pun-ch lines! Nice work Mick.
Your rust is getting very fancy these days!
First class Mike ...Bill
And you've been "featured" Mick. Nice one. I like the touch of the little drifts of sand(this must have been shot from above?)and the wood grain around the hex nut is marvellous.
3 is a magic number...
The detail and colours are spot on...
Love the comp...
A great image...
Excellent image Mick
I think those 'planks' are made for 'walking'
Great shot Mick of rust
Well, it seems like the rusty bits don't ever let you down....
Btw. did you see my rusty rooster in yesterday's upload???
Ah high quality rust with shine, well detailed image Mick (shame about the beach babes) Carole

I am with Crole, especially about the beach babes. another great rust composition Mick.
And if there was you wouldnt have been able to keep your camera still!!! Glad plan "B" Worked, like it Mick!!!
It was always going to be Plan B, I reckon. This doesn't look like the sort of beach for ladies' beach volley ball. It looks like my sort of beach.
Can you see the face in this photo, Mick?
Eyes, nose and mouth clearly delineated
Must be a portrait of a member of Big Aggie's volleyball team, however much you try to persuade us that it's just three rusty nuts.
I bet they practice their sport by throwing dockers over the sea wall.
You're a brave man to attempt such a close-up.
Always an interesting shot,,,
nice plan B
You're just nuts, Mick! A great composition and capture for your plan B!
Brilliant shot Mick, fantastic textures and tones, well spotted and captured.
This has all the "right stuff".
Plan B suits me Mick
Great textures as usual Mick.
Great composition Mick - like your rust screws collection - interesting texture (metal and wood)
I don't think a women's volleyball team would have such lovely shapes and textures as found in this shot Mick. So plan B works very well. Moira
Hope you never stubbed your delicate toes on them Mick,..Lin
What can I say? Excellent.
Ha ha, an interesting and fascinating image Mick, but I'm sure that plan A would've been even more so
my other half used to play tennis i will send her up if your stuck, nice work as usual regards Jamie
'Excellent composition, color, tones, textures, details, & Compo,' Mick~
Great stuff Mick!
Where do you find them Mick is it my imagination or is that a spider hiding in that crack . Great capture .
Another good one with the interesting nuts and bolts,
oh and washers, aging against the colourful timber.
Another great capture……..
Don't think you will find volleyball going on in these temperatures. wait till its a bit warmer Mick then try. Plan B looks good though. Paul
The rusty bolts and textures in the wood will do quite nicely thank you. I don't think epz is ready for the sight of Big Aggie and her friends in size 36 shorts and vests playing beach volleyball!
I agree with Jenn -- these are getting more and more interesting.
A good shot, but a pity about Plan A.
